About / Sean Syue

I like making the next step clearer.

I’m Sean Syue, based in Taipei. I work between business needs, technical decisions and the people who have to make them happen. My path here runs through research training, project support, AI product management and building systems of my own.

Background

From studying a problem
to organising the work.

My biology background taught me to work from evidence, break a question into parts and check an assumption. As a research assistant at a university hospital, I supported reports, study execution and statistical analysis.

In a biotechnology company, I moved from business and administrative support into product and project management. I supported projects with data analysis, SOPs, internal system testing and technical communication in Chinese, English and Japanese.

For Prometheus Lab AI, I coordinated colleagues across AI, engineering, software/hardware integration, marketing and business development, along with management and external partners. I handled requirements, technical integration, progress, proposals and competition deliverables. The product reached the Qualcomm Innovate in Taiwan Challenge 2025 Final Round during my tenure.

A shift in how I work

When a process keeps getting stuck,
I want to understand its structure.

On the job, I started connecting Ragic, Outlook, Excel and public APIs through n8n. The work included administration, AI projects and marketing. It taught me to look at the information and decisions between steps, and to make those handoffs explicit.

I took a career transition period from November 2025 to June 2026 to reassess my direction and prepare for my next role. Enterprise CRM, KYC and case-management work followed in July–August 2026.

Lately, I’ve been developing independent software and creative AI workflows. These give me a way to test an idea through its details: a responsibility model in AICC, access rules in Tetherlock, or the feel of a conversation in Heart Apartment.

Building prototypes has made my requirements more concrete. I can put a workflow, a data structure or a small experiment in front of people, so the next decision has something tangible behind it.

Working principles

What I pay attention to.

Make trade-offs tangible

Compare a focused set of options in the setting where they will be used. Response time and interaction quality matter when someone is waiting for a character to reply.

Choosing a local model for the game →

Let the result change the method

A check earns its place by being useful. When a music-ranking script failed to predict my listening choices, I kept the findings and changed the process.

Working with AI

My decisions. AI-assisted implementation.

AI writes most of the code in my independent software projects. I define the problem, the architecture, the rules and acceptance criteria; direct the implementation; and review the results.

In the creative work, I set the visual or musical direction, compare generated versions and choose what fits the experience. Images and music are generated material shaped by that process.

The cases distinguish my contribution, what was tested and where the limits remain. I want readers to be able to follow the decisions, including the ones that did not work.

What comes next

Work that connects a need
to a usable system.

I’m looking for a business systems, business analysis or AI automation role where I can carry work from problem definition and requirements through workflow design, prototyping, verification and adoption.

Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Operations, Solutions Consultant and Automation Lead are directions I’m exploring.

I’m interested in AI SaaS, FinTech, B2B SaaS and digital transformation teams, including international teams. I bring experience turning business needs into technical decisions and coordinating the people around them.
